MJC Alumni

Dear Fellow MJC Alumni,

PirateIn 1921 Modesto Junior College opened its doors for the first time with 50 students. Just two years later MJC held its first commencement with 17 students graduating. Today MJC has served over one million students and graduated over 100,000. For 91 years MJC has been the cornerstone of education in the central valley. Today the traditions of MJC are still alive and well.

My name is Bryan Justin Marks and I am the President of the Modesto Junior College Alumni Association. Like you, I had the opportunity to attend Modesto Junior College. The education I received at MJC set the foundation for my life. In addition to my studies, I participated in many extra-curricular activities and formed the greatest friendships of my life.

It is now an honor to payback such a legendary institution by helping to connect the past with the future. Founded in 1948, the MJC Alumni Association, in its many forms has helped organize reunions, kept alumni up to date with campus developments, and provided a variety of different services. In September 2009, The MJC Alumni Association launched all new, state of the art membership packages. Being a member of the association allows you to stay connected to classmates, enjoy community programs, and take advantage of discounts on a variety of MJC services.

Now is the time to join, re-connect, receive discounts, and see the MJC legacy continue.  In addition to joining the association, we would love to hear your success story. Please contact our office about sharing your MJC memories and successes.

Remember once a Pirate ALWAYS a Pirate!
